Irish guy schools TMZ with excellent sign at the New York St Patrick's Day parade
YOU MAY RECALL that Beyoncé was in Ireland last week, blessing us with the glory of her presence. She played four sold-out gigs, dined out in Dublin’s poshest restaurants, and had the whole country watching her every move.
So we were shocked and appalled when TMZ dared to suggest that Irish people didn’t know who Beyoncé and Jay-Z were. Even worse, when they inferred that Jay-Z put Dublin ‘on the map’ with his lyrics ‘bubblin’ in Dublin’. Eh, no.
Reader Danny Gallagher obviously felt quite strongly about this – so he and his friends took to the streets of New York on St Patrick’s Day to protest.
